At Tapestry Day Club we believe every life is a rich tapestry, woven from individual stories, experiences and connections. Each and every Club Day brings meaningful moments of joy, companionship, personalised support and respite.
As memories become harder to hold onto, we want to help ensure that the present moment is filled with greater meaning.
A smile shared between friends. Singing along to a favourite song. Feeling at home in a safe, welcoming place. These are the moments that matter.
We are the only known service across Surrey and Sussex offering personalised dementia support in small, home-based groups – providing not only comfort and stimulation for guests but also vital respite for family carers.
As a registered charity, our day charge is significantly subsidised and does not cover the true cost of delivering our personalised support or wrap-around services – including our pre-assessment home visits, welcome days and ongoing family support.

Suggested fundraising target: £200–£300 🎯
We’ve deliberately kept the fundraising target minimal, particularly for workplace teams who may be able to access matched funding. Every pound raised helps us continue to provide personalised dementia support and vital respite for family carers in need across Sussex and Surrey.
Runners will be fully supported by Tapestry with:

👍 fundraising guide to give you ideas and tips that are easy to share
🎉 social media shout-outs and encouragement
🧡 the option to be part of a friendly Team Tapestry WhatsApp group (for motivation and fun)
It’s a friendly, inclusive event – ideal for first-time fundraisers as well as experienced runners, and colleagues are also very welcome to come along on the day as cheerleaders if they prefer to support from the sidelines!
