“I am married to Nick and mum of our three grown up daughters. Our youngest daughter still lives at home while studying at university. We have two cats and two miniature dachshunds, Dougie and Digby who love to play.”

I have been a nurse for over thirty years, most recently nursing residents with advanced dementia in a small nursing home which I have thoroughly enjoyed, through this I have learnt about all aspects of life as an older person and most significantly the importance of support for carers. 

I discovered Tapestry Day Club when I visited a host and was truly inspired by what I saw, I look forward to providing a safe, calm, and relaxing space to get to know my guests and develop friendships through conversations, activities, and games. 

I enjoy cooking and in particular baking, which I shall have immense pleasure in sharing with my guests in our beautiful home and garden.”
