Holly

“I have two wonderful children who are both starting their own futures and now it’s time to think about mine.”

“My Pug dog Pie and I volunteer for ‘Pets As Therapy’ and part of our work involves visiting older people and those with dementia. I’ve realised over time how much I enjoy this, talking and learning about the people we meet. The best part of it is bringing a bit of happiness to them every visit as we’re often told we’ve made their day, which is lovely.

A lot of my time is spent outdoors in my garden, where I like to grow Dahlias but mostly just to potter. I love to draw and paint and have recently started to learn watercolour. I go to the theatre a lot and as many concerts as I can as I love music. I love to entertain and welcome people into my home and love people popping in.

I am really excited about hosting for Tapestry Day Club and look forward to getting to know you very soon.
