“I worked in local government for many years. In the latter part of my career, I worked for Age UK, the Royal Voluntary Service and Independent Age, supporting older people in Surrey and West Sussex by matching them with fantastic Befriending Volunteers.
I have been a volunteer with various charities over the past 30 years and most recently with Cycling Without Age – Guildford. I enjoy meeting new people and learning about all the different journeys and experiences everyone has in their life. My passions include music, reading, book clubs, theatre, dancing, walking and occasional trips to our little house in France, which one day will be finished.”
John supports families from Haslemere, Chiddingfold and all the villages around this area.
