Come and visit us at our stand at Hassocks on Show on 26 October, 10am-3pm, at Adastra Hall, and find out more about our dementia day care support.

Tapestry Day Club is a charity that provides dementia day care with a difference across Surrey and West Sussex. If you know an older person who would benefit from socially stimulating, small-group day support in a family home, or if you need a break from looking after a person with early-stage dementia, please contact us on support@tapestrydayclub.co.uk.

We have a lovely host based in Hassocks. Sarah, whose home is full of her own colourful and creative artwork from lampshades to block-printed fabrics, provides all refreshments, including a home-cooked, two-course lunch as well entertainment, often craft-based activities, tailored to the  interests of individual guests.

At the show, there will be 30 local clubs and societies showcasing their activities as well tea and cakes served by the WI. And entry is free.

If you know anyone living with dementia or in social isolation who might benefit from socialising, you can find out more on our A day with us page.

Please consider volunteering for us

We are looking for a volunteer driver in Hassocks/Burgess Hill area on Thursdays. Please contact us if you are able to help.
