Mark has worked for global marketing and PR consultancy firms during a 30-year career advising major international companies and charities. He is a former British Army officer and was also director of communications at the Financial Times.
He has been helping TDC on a voluntary consultancy basis since its inception in 2019.
Mark has first-hand experience of people living and dementia, which inspired him to offer his services to the Tapestry Day Club.
“The number of cases of people living with dementia in the UK and Wales is expected to grow by more than 50% between 2016 and 2040* to reach well over one million.
“Both Surrey and Sussex are among the top 20 areas in the UK** for the total number of people living with dementia, so the work of Tapestry Day Club is increasingly vital.
“We need to attract more charitable donations to help Tapestry Day Club in its work as well as building awareness of the services we offer.”
