We are so excited to announce that we have completed the journey to become a registered charity.

This major milestone will allow us to expand our dementia day care service. It means we can continue to keep our day rate as affordable as possible and support people of modest means.

It has been a massive project involving a lot of form-filling and lawyers, not to mention recruiting three trustees and quarterly trustee meetings going forward.

We would like to take this opportunity to introduce you to our board of trustees, whose wisdom and experience will help guide us.

Chair Rosemary Pavoni is a health-and-social-care expert with nearly 60 years of experience. Treasurer Tim Hulley is a chartered accountant has been a staunch supporter, helping and advising on finance and strategy on a voluntary basis since the outset. PR and marketing expert Mark Knight has also been helping us on a voluntary basis since we started.

In recognition of our new status, we have launched this new website, giving us the opportunity not only to reach more people in need of support, but also work in greater collaboration with donors and funders.

Please consider donating, which you can do via our PayPal donate page. No donation is too small, and every penny counts towards helping others financially less able to access valuable support.

If you would like to be kept up to date with everything going on at TDC, please subscribe to our newsletter.
